Hi all,
Lita had a good day today. This morning she had a Reiki treatment that put her to sleep. The Reiki therapist (for lack of a better word) told Lita before-hand that when a client falls asleep during a treatment it is the highest compliment. I guess it was good. This afternoon her son Peter and her step-son Glenn came for a visit and stayed for dinner. After dinner Kathy Henri and Holly came for a visit as well. Lita enjoyed these visits immensely.
So, what is this about story time? I would like for folks to add comments to this post and share a favorite "Lita" story. When you add a comment, don't forget to choose a profile. Also, I have noticed that frequently when I click "post comment" I get an error back from the server. Usually if I just click the button again, the post will be successful.

I barely remember a time when my parents (Lita’s Aunt and Uncle) must have gone away for a weekend trip and Lita was asked to baby sit for a portion of that weekend (in the mid 1970s). My brothers Ray and Ken were a handful…I on the other hand, was an angel. While being watched by our usual sitter, my brother Ken fell head first against the coffee table while being chased round and round by Ray. Kenny had to get stitches. Later that weekend Lita took over responsibility and relieved the usual baby sitter. After an apparent road trip we all returned home in Lita’s car. Once again, Kenny and Ray were messing around. Somehow Kenny’s finger was caught in the car door by Ray. He had to go to the emergency room again. By the time my parents got back Kenny’s head was bandaged and his hand was in a sling. Lita must have been relieved to be rid of us. I have no idea if she would remember this. I was so young I barely remember it myself.
ReplyDeleteAnother story, about 1960….My father, who is Lita’s uncle was very young when Lita was born, he had a pet monkey as a young boy. My mother told me that Lita and the monkey did not like each other very much. Lita used to bang on the cage as a toddler. I think the monkey some how would instigate Lita.

OMG! It worked. I wonder why it does not work with Firefox? No matter. Now let's see if it works with my Google Account.
